TIFFANY AND THE GENIE

A modern day re-work of a classic tale from Tales of 1001 Arabian Nights when a high school student on summer vacation discovers a magic bottle and frees a genie who has been locked inside for 3000 years.

Roles:
Tiffany: A high school student
The Genie: A genie

AS NIGHT TO THE DAY

Forty-year-old Michael returns home to help his mother who is struggling with memory loss. Over the course of a morning, Michael sees her through the eyes of another and learns that there is a side to her he didn’t know.
Roles:
Winifred: A woman in her late 70’s, in the early stages of Alzheimers
Michael: A man in his early 40’s
Sean: A handy man in his mid 40’s
Tara: A neighbour in her late 50’s
 
THE DEATH OF ME

When John bargains with the Angel of Death for a second chance at life, he discovers that fixing the mistakes of one's past is difficult, and that perhaps his destiny is not yet etched in stone.
Roles:
John, 40's, a nice, nice guy
Angel of Death, female, any age
Cassie, 40's, John's ex-fiancée, neurotic, a real mess
Doctor, 40+, self-absorbed

This fast-paced, imaginative, funny, and moving ensemble piece explores the romanticism evoked by the tobacco industry, and the not-so-romantic effects of the cigarette.

Gloria 4 (91 lines)

All Gloria's are siblings of various ages.  Generally played by women, but gender flexibility will be given consideration.  Actors will not be required to smoke.
UPTON MANOR

A “Downton Abbey” parody which takes place in the 1930’s. An aristocratic family loses their money and are forced to sell their family home.

Roles:
Lord Roger Hawley, Middle aged, Earl of Frinton:  British aristocrat, inherited his money
His Wife Lady Clara: Roger’s wife
His mother Lady Viola the Dowager countess: In her 70’s, a very regal woman
Lady Mavis: Daughter of Roger and Clara
Lady Ruth: Mavis’s sister
James Carlson: A very proper butler
Steven Bush: A Canadian entrepreneur
