News and Open Audition

We are pleased to announce that our first 2014-2015 commitment has been made and rehearsals are underway for the one act comedy play Post-Its. Congratulations to Judy and Gary who have accepted to perform in this production. Post-Its (Notes on a Marriage) premiered at a benefit performance for the Gilda Radner Cancer Fund in 1998 with authors Paul Dooley and Winnie Holzman as cast. We intend to encapsulate this one act play with another one (or two) and present all of them sometime in July/August 2014. Standby for performance date(s) announcement.
We will be holding open auditions for several one act comedy plays this Sunday April 27th from 3:30 to 5pm at Suzy and Marc's located on lot 124. All welcome. For those interested but unable to attend, we will be hosting another open audition on Sunday May 4th same time, same place.
What is an open audition? It does not entail any preparation on your part. We will be reading several one act plays that are being considered and together, we will decide if it is worthwhile producing. Your interest in participating as a cast member or director will also be a decision factor. No special skills required to attend the open auditions except for your willingness to read and share your opinion. If you have one act plays that you would like us to consider for this season or future season, please let us know. Thank you.
