Our 4th season has started

It’s time to communicate to our supporters and valued members.

Our first official event and round one auditions is scheduled. Don’t miss out.

Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park, Saturday February 13, 2016

4:00pm to 5:00pm Workshop: Basic operation DMX and lights

              =è Hands on, in the New Forest Room

7:30pm to 8:30pm: Round One Auditions for Variety Show

              =è Come with a prepared piece. For example, it could be a component of a skit, a section of a song, a short dance number, a comedy routine...  You will not need to present the entire final product but it must be from what you would intend to present at the Variety Show in Jul and/or Aug 2016.

Note that we have already granted 3 tickets to the auditions. Yes, you will get an assigned number, once you communicate that you want to audition.

Reading time: Help select our play for this season

Bare Oaks Players is also calling for a play reading on January 24^th, 2016 @ 1:30pm – Bare Oaks – Judy’s place on Helios Circle.

We will be reading “Buying the Moose” by Michael Wilmot. This will be our 2^nd reading. Cast is 2M 2F.

We hope to see you at Bare Oaks for this event.

Format for this season

Reading committee: Ongoing throughout the season, at Bare Oaks and in Toronto.

Workshops: 1 to 3 during the winter months

Poetry: One per month May to August 2016

Family Week: Short 10-15 minute presentation

July: Variety Show

August: Play or Variety Show Take 2 (To be determined)

August 6-14: Linkage with Bare Oaks Art Week.  Check out the art residency details at http://nakedstate.ca/apply.  Bare Oaks Players intends to have something special to present during this Art Week.

One idea submitted would be to present extracts from a play submitted to us last season.
